What is the game about?
CrimeTrip is a game where you can finally live out your true crime fantasies without actually committing any crimes. It's like being a detective, but without all the boring paperwork and department meetings. Plus, you get to solve some of the most infamous unsolved cases of the 70s and 80s in augmented reality. So come for the AR, stay for the crimes .
What kind of true crime cases are featured in the game?
Oh, just your average run-of-the-mill heists, cocaine smuggling, clever federal mouse traps, crazy bandits fighting for criminal rights, classic Mafiosi takeovers, and bombs hidden in VHS tapes. You know, the usual stuff. But hey, at least you get to solve them in augmented reality!
How does it work ?
CrimeTrip is an app you will be able to download on PlayStore and AppStore. Once the experience is downloaded, you are able to place it on top of your physical world and move in it by walking or using controllers.
Is it violent ?
Actually, it's not. In contrast with the drama of the crimes, we designed the game experience as a dark comedy. The style we are using contains very little gory material, probably much less than you are used to seeing in other True-Crime content.
